Louis Maxson

Lewis Maxson ( Maxson also Louis, Lewis Maxon, born July 2, 1855 in Herbert Roseville, California, † July 2, 1916 in Baltimore, Maryland) was an American archer.

Maxson, one of the best U.S. archers won the gold medal at the Olympic Games 1904 in St. Louis with the team, the Potomac Archers, in the U.S. domestic duel.

He was from 1889 to 1894 several American Master, what he could reach for the last time in 1898. The patent attorney also took part in the individual disciplines of 1904, however, was only one twelfth.
