Louis XIV (Band)

Louis XIV is a four-piece rock band from San Diego, California, which was founded in April 2003.

History

Jason Hill, Brian Karscig and Mark Maigaard formed the group in April 2003, while living in Paris. James Armbrust joined the group later on.

The first album (Louis XIV) was released in November 2003. It was taken in the spring of 2003 in a basement of a Spanish district of Paris. The recordings were made with a 16 -track tape machine. The album sold in the first six months more than 22,000 times. Distributed it was on the band's own website and at concerts.

In August 2008, the band performed at the Area 4 Festival in Luedinghausen and Highfield at Erfurt.

On 4 March 2013, the band performed as support for the band "The Killers" in the O2 World Hamburg.
