Louise Stratten

Louise Stratten ( born May 8, 1968 in Vancouver; native Louise Hoogstraten ) is a Canadian actress.

Life and achievements

Louise Stratten is the younger sister of working as a model and murdered in 1980, actress Dorothy Stratten. She made her debut alongside Rob Lowe and Colleen Camp in the film comedy The innocence of Molly by Peter Bogdanovich from the year 1988. During the same year she married the director. Directed by Bogdanovich, she starred in the comedy co-produced by her Noises Off! - The Rat Race (1992 ), in the TV drama The wrong way to happiness (1997), in the novel adaptation Rescuers - Stories of Courage (1997) and the thriller NY - Streets of Death ( 1998) and the comedy I'm you, and you are me (1999). In the comedy festival in Cannes ( 2001) with Anouk Aimée, Greta Scacchi, Maximilian Schell and Ron Silver, she played together with her husband a couple. In the same year the marriage was divorced with Bogdanovich.

Stratten had a greater role in the independent horror film The Whispering of Gregory Gieras from the year 1996. Comedy The Ninja Cheerleaders, where she represented the mother of one of the main characters, appeared in 2008.
