Loulou de la Falaise

Loulou de la Falaise; actually: Louise Vava Lucia Henriette Le Bailly de la Falaise ( born May 4, 1948 in London, England;; † 5 November, 2011 Boury -en- Vexin (Oise ), France) was a French model and fashion designer.

Life and career

The 1948-born daughter of an Irish Models learned at the age of 19, Yves Saint Laurent know in a New York nightclub, who asked her to follow him to Paris. So they came in 1972 to the company. She quickly became one of his closest confidant and right hand that designed over 30 years jewelry and hats for the couture house and inspired him to numerous designs.

Over three decades, until the closure of the haute couture house in 2002, it created tens of thousands of accessories and - together with Anne -Marie Muñoz - also a good part of the Prêt -à -porter line.

Loulou de la Falaise had two children.
