Loumbila Department

Loumbila is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the Plateau Central region and the province Oubritenga. The municipality has 27,771 inhabitants in 30 villages.

The municipal area is a reservoir, which is used to supply water to the nearby capital, Ouagadougou. In belonging to Loumbila village Donsin the new capital airport will be built.
