Lousoi (Greek οἱ Λουσοί, also Lusoi transcribed ) was an ancient Greek city in the northern Peloponnese, at the foot of Chelmos Mountains. In ancient times, the area belonged to Arcadia, today the province of Achaia. Lousoi was initially independent, later it belonged to Cleitor.

It is known mainly for its Lousoi since the late 8th century BC significant Artemis sanctuary. Excavations by the Athens Branch of the Austrian Archaeological Institute found first 1898/99 instead of the Artemis sanctuary. Were bared up to the Temple of Artemis and the remains of the surrounding buildings. 1981, excavations were resumed and continued since in annual campaigns. In addition to excavations in the sanctuary of Artemis at first investigations were carried out in the Hellenistic residential area of the city. Recently, the foundations of a hall, a ring temple hall and a further cultic building were excavated in the public center of the Hellenistic city.
