Love Is...

Kim Casali ( born September 9, 1941 as Kim Grove in Auckland, New Zealand, † 15 June 1997) is the originator of the famous cartoon series "Love is ... ".

Your first image of this series she drew in 1968 for her boyfriend and future husband, Roberto. It should daily followed by many more - but Roberto sent this secretly to the Los Angeles Times, which published for Valentine's Day 1970 for the first time an image. From 1975 she worked with the British artist Bill Asprey.

Kim Casali got with her husband Roberto two sons, Stefano (1972) and Dario (1974). However, her husband died in January 1976, after which they could be inseminated with the frozen sperm of her husband, her third son Milo Roberto Andrea came in July 1977 to the world.

After her untimely death at the age of 55 years led her eldest son Stefano continues the cartoon.
