Lovelace (crater)

Lovelace is an impact crater on the moon back near the lunar north pole. It lies between Lenard in the north and in the south Froelich. The walls of the crater are terraced, the interior is relatively flat with a pronounced central peak. About 50 km to the west at the same latitude of the secondary craters E. Lovelace

The crater was named in 1970 by the IAU by the American physician and aerospace medical William Randolph Lovelace II.
