Loveland is a city in Larimer County in the U.S. state of Colorado, United States, on the banks of the Big Thompson River.
Loveland is nationally known as the home of the Re - mailing Program for Valentine's Day. Every year hundreds of thousands of letters with self -sealed verses are answered and "hand stamped" sent back.
The Loveland Pass, also named after William AH Loveland, located not in the vicinity of this city.
Attractions
Just outside the town in a westerly direction is Devil's Backbone Open Space, a bizarre rock formation, under which one can imagine with a little imagination, the bones of the spine. From the trail at Devil 's Backbone offers impressive views of the Rocky Mountains.
