Lovelock Correctional Center

The Lovelock Correctional Center is a state prison in the U.S. state of Nevada in Pershing County, near Lovelock.

History

Lovelock is located in Pershing County, and is one of seven institutions of the Nevada Department of Corrections. It was built in two phases and opened in two phases. The first phase was completed in August 1995. At that time, two blocks were opened with 168 cells. Each cell was provided for two prisoners.
