Lubbock (crater)

Lubbock is a small impact craters on the lunar front side at the edge of Mare Fecunditatis, north of the crater Gutenberg and southwest of Messier. The crater is unremarkable and flat. He overlaid the northern foothills of the Rimae Goclenius.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British banker, mathematician and astronomer John William Lubbock.
