Luc Jacquet

Luc Jacquet ( born December 5, 1967 in Bourg -en- Bresse ) is a French film director.

He has performed in several animal documentaries for television directing, as in the sign of the Snake (French: Sous le signe du serpent ). In 2004 he made known to a large audience with the director and the screenplay for the film March of the Penguins, the an international success was and has been awarded at the 78th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood on March 5, 2006 with the Oscar for best documentary.

2007 came his second feature film to the cinema: The Fox and the Child.

2013 appeared with The Mystery of the trees a more natural documentation of Jacquet.
