Lucien Weiler

Lucien Weiler ( born August 3, 1951 in Ettelbrück ) is a Luxembourgian politician of the CSV.

Life

Lucien Weiler grew up in Diekirch where he worked as a lawyer. In the years 1986-1987 hamlet sat in the council of Diekirch and was between 1988 and 1993 juror. Since June 8, 1989 he is sitting as a deputy for the district north in the Chamber, the Luxembourg Parliament, in which he also perceived the role of Group President of his party the CSV. His areas of expertise include finance, economy, justice and social policy.

From 2004 to 2009, Lucien Weiler President of the Chamber, and therefore the first citizen of the country.

2013 he no longer went to at the Luxembourg Parliament elections and thus withdrew from active politics.

Lucien Weiler is married and the father of two sons. His hobbies include reading, and as a nature lover his garden and his small animals.
