Lucija Zaninović

Lucija Zaninović ( born June 26, 1987 in Split) is a Croatian Taekwondo. It starts in the weight category up to 49 kilograms.

Her international debut at the senior level was Zaninović at the 2006 European Championship in Bonn, however, where they retired in their opening fight. At the World Cup the following year in Beijing, she reached the quarter-finals, left there but against Yaowapa Boorapolchai. Your first medal finally won Zaninović at the European Championships 2010 in St. Petersburg, where she was able to win with a final victory over Yasmina Aziez the European title. Two years later she defended her title at the European Championships in Manchester successful.

Zaninović reached in 2011, the International Olympic qualification tournament in Baku in the weight category up to 49 kilograms, the final and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. There she won the bronze medal, after losing in the semi-final against Wu Jingyu.

Her twin sister Ana Zaninović is also a successful Taekwondo.
