Lucio Godoy

Lucio Godoy (born 1958 in Paraná, Argentina) is an Argentine composer.

Life

Lucio Godoy studied at conservatories in Buenos Aires, Boston and Paris; he lived from 1978 to 1985 in Paris, where he came in contact with film music. Then he wanted to study at the University of Southern California film composition, however decided to study at the Berklee College of Music. In Boston, he lived for seven years. Subsequently, he played in bands for several years before moving mid-1990s to Spain, where he was able to write as a film composer with him establish scores for Mondays in the Sun, Amador and Marcela's Roses and Chinese takeaway. Godoy was nominated three times for the Spanish Goya Film Awards, where he won it in 2007 for his Lind " Tiempo pequeño " La educacion de las hadas.
