Luck Mervil

Luck Mervil ( born October 20, 1967 in Port-au -Prince, Haiti ) is a Haitian- Canadian actor and singer-songwriter.

Life and achievements

Mervil was born in Haiti. When he was four years old, his family moved to Montreal and with 12 years in New York. At the age of 17, he returned to Montreal. In 1998 he played the role of Gypsy King Clopin in the musical Notre Dame de Paris on the side of Bruno Pelletier, Daniel Lavoie, Hélène Segara, Patrick Fiori, Julie Zenatti and Garou. He advocates for the sovereignty of Quebec and in 2004 was awarded by the Société Saint -Jean -Baptiste de Montréal as " Patriot of the Year".

As an actor he is in the comedy of errors C'est pas moi c'est l' autre ...! (2004) by director Alain Zaloum to see. He embodied therein the friend of the main character, played by Roy Dupuis. He had a more minor role in the romantic drama A Sunday in Kigali (2006), playing in the midst of the genocide in Rwanda in 1994.
