Ludwig Dringenberg

Ludwig Dringenberg (* 1410 probably in Dringenberg, Prince-Bishopric of Paderborn, † 1477 in Schlettstadt, Alsace ) was a German educator, humanist and cleric.

Dringenberg was born in Dringenberg in Westphalia. He was probably at a school of the brothers called from the common life, even Hieronymus school, worked in the Böddeken monastery. He studied in Heidelberg from 1430. Schlettstadt In Alsace, he became in 1441 director of the local grammar school.
