Luing cattle

The extensive Luing cattle breed ( breed key LG 50) was grown on the Scottish island of Luing from the year 1947 by the brothers Shane, Denis and Ralph Cadzow. Has its origin, these cattle Beef clew and the Highland Cattle.

The red-brown Luing, which were recognized as a separate breed in 1965, reaching a height at the withers of 125 cm, the Bulls certainly can reach a weight of 950 kg.
