Luis Costales

Luis Alberto Costales Cazar ( born December 24, 1926 in Riobamba, † 1 February 2006 ) was a poet, writer, philosopher, teacher, speaker and Ecuadorian politician.

Life

He was co-founder of the party Izquierda Democrática and a member of its first Consejo Ejecutivo Nacional, which was formed by Alfredo Buendia, Rodrigo Borja Cevallos, Teran Fidel Jaramillo, Efren Cocíos and others. The party, which had become the first political force in Ecuador in 1986, Rodrigo Borja Cevallos brought to the presidency.

He was born in Riobamba, has become known for its history as the birthplace of great men who have contributed significantly to the development of society. Luis Alberto Costales applies in the Ecuadorian society as an example for the youth with his embodiment of high humanistic and civic values.
