Luis Ernesto Pérez

Luis Ernesto Pérez Gómez (born 12 January 1981) is a Mexican football player.

Perez played in 1997 at the U17 World Cup in Egypt for his country and already on 17 November 1998 he made his debut in the Mexican national team, before he had made his first match in La Liga. That was then almost 10 months later, the team Necaxa. Over 100 matches he absolve for the club from the city of Aguascalientes, before, after reaching the runner-up changed in the summer season, for CF Monterrey in 2002. By 2003 he was champion Monterrey in the Apertura and in the following years championship twice runner-up. Here, the central midfielder was developed in the 2005/06 season with 14 goals and the successful scorers.

In the national team he was after the 2002 World Cup regulars, he played at the 2004 Olympics ( U23 - selection) and the Confederations Cup 2005 in all games. With five goals in eleven games, he also contributed to the successful qualification of his country for the soccer World Cup 2006 in Germany, where he is part of the World Cup squad in Mexico.
