Luis Manuel Seijas

Luis Manuel Seijas Gunther ( born June 23, 1986 in Valencia, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan national football team, but who also has German nationality. He plays in midfield primarily at left- midfield player.

Luis Manuel Seijas played in his youth in the youth teams of the Venezuelan division club FC Caracas, before he made ​​the jump to the squad of the first team at the age of eighteen. However, he already left the club in early 2006 and moved to the Argentine first division club Banfield, where it is modified in one and a half years only came to four inserts. Therefore, he joined in the summer of 2007 returned to his home to Deportivo Táchira FC. He immediately became a regular player, but changed after half a year already abroad again, this time to Colombia for the first division club Independiente Santa Fe. There he established himself as a regular player and denied more than one hundred games. In summer 2011, Seijas moved to Europe and signed with Belgian first division club Standard Liege; the Walloons paid a transfer fee of 500,000 euros. Luis Manuel Seijas was nominated at the age of twenty years for the Venezuelan national football team and part since 2006 throughout the squad for the team. In 2011 he took part in the Copa América Venezuela, finishing in fourth place.

Luis Manuel Seijas is the son of a German -born mother and therefore also has the German nationality. His brother Luis Roberto Seijas (* 1989) is also a professional footballer.
