Independiente Santa Fe

The Santa Fe Corporación Deportiva is a football club based in the Colombian capital Bogota. He is also known under its founding name as Independiente Santa Fe. The club colors are red and white.

The club was founded on 28 February 1941. 1948 won Independiente Santa Fe the first championship of professional football in Colombia. More titles followed in 1958, 1960, 1966, 1971, 1975 and most recently the first half of the season championship in 2012.

Santa Fe took several times in international competitions such as Copa Libertadores, Copa Copa Conmebol and Merconorte. Santa Fe penetrated both in Merconorte and in the Conmebol before the final, but so far could not win any international title.

The games against Los Millonarios CD are considered " el clásico de Bogotá " and are a highlight of the Colombian football calendar.

Stadium

The home club's stadium Estadio Nemesio Camacho is the ( " El Campin " ) in Bogotá with a capacity of 46,018 seats.
