Fortaleza FC

Fortaleza FC is a 2010 established a Colombian football club based in Bogotá, of its home games fought out until the rise of Zipaquirá 2014 in the first division. The club bought the right to start the indebted club Atlético Juventud Girardot out and played since 2011 in the Categoría Primera B and from 2014 in the Categoría Primera A.

History

While Fortaleza FC 2011 and 2012 failed relatively scarce in the qualification for the group stage, the club was able to in 2013 for the first time qualify in Torneo Finalización as group winners for the finals and won this against Deportivo Rionegro and playing against Uniautónoma FC Master and direct climber in the Categoría Primera A from. However Fortaleza lost the final and thus played the play-offs against Cúcuta Deportivo. Stadium

Fortaleza FC completed its home games in the second division at the Estadio Municipal Los Zipas in Zipaquirá. The stadium has a capacity of about 5,000 seats. After promotion to the first division, the club plays its home games at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo Bogota, which has a capacity of about 8,000 seats.
