Luiz Gervazoni

Luís Gervasoni, called Itália, ( May 22nd, 1907 in Rio de Janeiro, † 1963) was a Brazilian footballer of Italian descent.

Association

From 1924 to 1925 Itália completed 23 games for Bangu Atlético Clube. Then joined a time when Vasco da Gama, which lasted from 1926 to 1937. 1929, 1934 and 1936 was the defensive player with his team Vasco da Gama, the Campeonato Carioca win.

National

Itália was a member of the national team of his native country, and took her part in the first World Cup in 1930. There he came in games against Bolivia and Yugoslavia used. In 1932 he was part of the team that won the Copa Río Branco. Overall, the defender completed nine caps for Brazil.
