Łukasz Sosin

Łukasz Sosin ( born May 7, 1977 in Kraków, Poland) is a Polish football player who played for Aris Limassol in Cyprus.

Club career

The center forward started his professional career in 1996 at the former Polish premier league club Hutnik Krakow, from where he was hired in late 1996 to Cracovia Krakow in the second league. After the 1996/1997 season Sosin returned to Hutnik Krakow who've been relegated to the second league, back and played here for two more years. In the 1998/1999 season he was with 17 goals scorer in the 2nd Polish League.

It was not until the 1999/2000 season he moved back to the Ekstraklasa ( the highest Polish league ) to Odra Wodzisław. Here he was able to fight for a regular place and shot in his first season for the new club equal to 10 goals each other immediately. This made it interesting for the Polish club Wisła Kraków tip, so that the engaged him for the new season. Here Sosin was able to win the Polish Cup, but never came across the reservists role beyond. So he was again loaned to Odra Wodzisław, was here to build on old achievements and shot in the 2001/2002 season twelve goals for the new / old club.

Łukasz Sosin 2002 dared to move abroad to Cyprus Apollon Limassol. Here he was equal to the fixed size and could bring to the club both the Cypriot Championship and the Cypriot Super Cup. From the 2007/2008 season he played until the end of 2009 the Cypriot top club Anorthosis Famagusta, with whom he won the Championship in 2007/2008. From January to July 2010, he played in Greece for Kavala. However, in 11 league games managed not a single hit. On 29 July 2010 he signed a two -year contract with the Cypriot second division club Aris Limassol. In his first season at Aris he could contribute decisively with 19 goals for advancement. In the 10 seasons in the Cypriot League Łukasz Sosin scored 147 goals in 244 games.

National

Sosins accuracy in Cyprus escaped even by the then Polish Paweł Janas coach. He nominated him in 2006 for three friendlies (2:1 Saudi Arabia, 0:1 and 4:0 Faroe Lithuania ), in which Łukasz Sosin scored twice for the Polish national team. His last international game he played in 2009 at 10-0 against San Marino.
