Łukasz Surma

Łukasz Surma ( born June 28, 1977 in Kraków ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

Surma began his career in his native city with Wisła Kraków. In the season 1996/97 he made his debut for the club tradition in the Ekstraklasa. In 1998 he moved to the record champions Ruch Chorzów. Here he became a regular fixture and an indispensable key players. For the second half of the season 2002/ 03 he was obliged by the Polish top club KP Legia Warsaw. Here he was able to continue its good performance and advanced over the years to the captain of the team and even international. For the season 2007/ 08 he ventured abroad and moved to Israel for Maccabi Haifa. Here he completed however due to injury just a season game and moved to second round to league rivals Hapoel Bnei Sakhnin. Here he completed 30 league games. In 2008 he moved to Austria to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling. After only six games in Mödling he returned to his native Poland and signed in January 2009 signed a contract with Lechia Gdańsk. There he was appointed successor to the Nieciecza KS exchanged Captain Karol Piątek 2010.

National

Łukasz Surma played from 2002 to 2003 a total of five times for the Polish national team.
