Luke Halpin

Luke Halpin ( born April 4, 1947 in Astoria, United States) is an American actor who is best known for his role as Sandy Ricks in the television series Flipper.

Life

Luke Halpin is the son of Helen and Eugene Halpin and has two siblings, his brother Eugene, Jr. and his sister Joan.

First Halpin was a theater actor, including on Broadway. In 1961 he got the role in the movie Flipper, who was released in 1963. Due to the success of the film was launched in 1964 as a series Flipper. Until the termination of the series 1966 Halpin played in a total of three seasons on the side of Tommy Norden ( younger brother Bud) the youthful Sandy Ricks.

Today Halpin works as a pilot and technician for a film production company. He and his wife Deborah, he is married to his second wife and has a child with her. From his first marriage come two more children.

In Alan Shapiro's film Flipper from the 1996 Luke Halpin can be seen in a short scene as a guest on board the Bounty Hunter.
