Lukoran

Lukoran is a place on the island of Ugljan (Croatia).

The economic basis are farming, viticulture, olive tree plantations, fishing and tourism. Veli Lukoran is a place with numerous bays and beaches, which are surrounded by an old pine forest.

Attractions

There are some country houses, the most famous is the country house of the de Ponte family dating from the 17th century.

According to legend, the famous Croatian guard song Zora puca was ( Before Sunrise ) by the poet Petar Preradović in Lukoran.
