Lukusuzi-Nationalpark

Lukusuzi National Park is 2540 km ² and is located in the Luangwa valley east of the river just under 100 km north of Chipata in Zambia.

The park is located on a plateau just above the valley and is quite run down. Almost half of the park consists of plateau, the other from rocky terrain. Miombo is dominant up to the meadows by the river banks. On the plateau there is a rolling grassland.

It is unclear how many animals have survived the poaching in recent years. Otherwise, here is more than the lion, the hyena, the most important hunter. The now living here types correspond to those in the other Luangwaparks, so elephants, wildebeest, eland, roan, sable antelope, Klipspringer and Warthog. In the southern area of significant atrraktivere South Luangwa National Park, just north of Nordluangwa National Park.
