Lullacry

Lullacry is a Finnish gothic metal band that was founded in Helsinki in 1998.

Band History

The band released their debut album in 1998 out Weeper 's Aeon and after a short time, in 1999, followed by the second album, Sweet Desire. Spinefarm Records took notice of the band and took them under contract. With the release of the album Be My God ( 2001), which was recorded during a tour with the power metal band Edguy, the band was able to record a next major success.

Nevertheless, singer Tanya Kemppainen left the band in 2002. Many female singers competed for a place in the band, but the then relatively unknown Tanja Lainio got the place. It was followed by the album Crucify My Heart. The decoupled single from this album Do not Touch the Flame also included a cover of the Nine Inch Nails song Head like a Hole.

Before they recorded another album, the EP Fire Within was released, the two alternative versions of classic tracks by the band, a cover of LOVE Machine the band WASP, as well as two new songs included.

In 2005, the album vol 4 and the single was released Stranger in You, which also contained a cover of KISS songs I Stole You Love. In 2012, under the label Playground Music Scandinavia followed the album Where Angels Fear.
