Lunatic (group)

Lunatic is a French hip hop group from Hauts -de -Seine (92). Its members, Booba ( Boulogne- Billancourt ) and Ali ( Issy -les -Moulineaux ) made ​​their debut with the single Le crime paie from the sampler Hostile hip hop. The two rappers describe in her song the problems in the suburbs ( banlieues ).

Their first and only album together Mauvais oeil came out in 2000.

The group broke up in 2002. Boobas first solo album Temps Mort appeared in 2002. Ali released his first solo album, chaos et harmonie published in 2005.

The Black Album by Lunatic containing unreleased tracks and first versions of the songs, in 2006 came on the market.
