The Lachulung La ( also Lāchālūng La or " Lungalacha La " ) is located in the Ladakh region in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It separates the valleys of Tsarap Chu Chu and the Tozay, both of which flow to the Indus on the Zanskar.
Located on the Leh-Manali Highway Pass is only 8 km from La Nakee away and the 24 km northerly Pang, the road follows mostly the narrow gorge of the Lachulung Lungpa. Buses and taxis stop here often for a few minutes, but the views of the surrounding mountains nameless because of the small height difference is rather disappointing.
