The Lunsemfwa is a river in the central province of Zambia and a tributary of the Lukusashi.

It rises near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the southeastern corner of Katanga spur in Muchinga Mountains. It flows south, is the Mita Hills Dam, built during the 1950s, dammed to generate electricity, falls further over the Muchinga escarpment and from there to the east. The river is among anglers because of its large holdings of Tigersalmlern very popular, which can be up to 15 kg. With the Lukusashi it forms in Luanotal the most powerful tributary of the Luangwa.
