The Lotta (Russian Лотта; skoltsamisch: Latt; nordsam. Lottery or Lohttu; Finnish Luttojoki or Lutto ) is a 235 km long river source of Tuloma in Finnish Lapland landscape and in the Murmansk Oblast in Russia. The river has its source north of Saariselka in Finland. The Lotta takes just before crossing the Russian border, the right tributary Suomu on flows in an easterly direction and empties into the Werchnetulomskoje reservoir. The catchment area covers 7980 km ², the average discharge at the mouth is 49 m³ / s By damming the Tuloma the ex-left tributaries Akkim and Annama open today directly into the reservoir.
