Luuk Kroon

Luuk Kroon ( born December 13, 1942 in Ridderkerk, South Holland province, † June 19, 2012 in The Hague) was a Dutch admiral lieutenant, who, among other commanders of the Royal Navy ( Koninklijke Marine ), as well as Chief of the Defence Staff (chief Defensiestaf ) commander of the armed forces was.

Life

Kroon graduated from post-school training as a naval officer and was promoted in September 1995 as Vice Admiral and appointed at the same time as the successor of Nico Buis commander of the Royal Navy.
