Lyapunov (crater)

Lyapunov is an impact crater on the north- eastern limb of the Moon front page, it is, therefore, if at all, only highly distorted visible. It is located northeast of the crater Hubble and south of Rayleigh.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1964 after the Russian mathematician Aleksandr Mikhailovich Lyapunov.
