Lyndon Brook

Lyndon Brook ( born April 10, 1926 in York, England; † January 9, 2004 in London) was a British actor.

Life

Lyndon Brook was the son of the actor Clive Brook and Evelyn Mildred. While his father still was in Hollywood, he grew up with his older sister, who later became an actress Faith Brook, in England. He attended the private school Stowe and made his first acting experience at the University of Cambridge. After he dances in 1949 a small film role in Trottie played into happiness, he received in 1951 by Laurence Olivier the offer to be eligible to play in the theater company at the St James 's Theatre. During this time he met his future wife, actress Elizabeth Kentish, , with whom he remained married until his death. From the mid- 1950s he was in movies like flames over the Far East to see all forces of defiance and The Spanish Gardener.

Parallel to the Acting Brook wrote. He was one of the screenwriters for the 1971 running television drama Gemengd dubbel. He also wrote and directed several theater productions.

On 9 January 2004 Brook died at the age of 77 years. He left behind his wife and two daughters together.
