Mabel Agyemang

Mabel Maame Agyemang ( maiden name: Banful ) (* 20th century, Ghana ) is the Chief Justice of the Gambia. She is the first ghanische Chief Justice.

She began to work as expert judge in 2004 for the Commonwealth Secretariat, first she worked in the Gambia. She was appointed High Court Judge - 2002. At first she was four years trained as a high -court judge. Then she went for two years to Swaziland, where she attended a similar study. In 2010 she returned to Gambia back as an expert in the Court of Appeal with the Commonwealth Secretariat. One of her greatest achievements was the attainment of the right to free education in Swaziland.

She is a devout Christian and is currently married and has two children.
