Machine Men

Machine Men (german machine, machine ', men, Men ') was a Finnish band playing traditional Heavy Metal.

History

Machine Men was founded by Jarno Parantainen, Toni Parviainen, Eero Vehniäinen and Jani Noronen as Iron Maiden cover band. In the autumn of 1998, met guitarist JV Light the line-up, after which the band with the composition of his own songs began. In this cast two demos were recorded before the band had to pause until 2001 due to the military service of several band members.

In December of that year, the band signed a contract with the Finnish record label Dynamic Arts and recorded a self-titled EP, which also includes an Iron Maiden cover version along with four original songs with Aces High. Subsequently, the band toured extensively throughout Finland.

In June 2003, the band returned to the studio to record their debut album. Scars and Wounds was released in February 2004. End of the year, the band began writing songs for their next album. Previously Machine Men moved to Century Media.

In August 2005 the album Elegies appeared. In addition to nine new songs it contains freak with the cover version of a solo piece by Bruce Dickinson. Followed in 2007 by the latest addition album, Circus of Fools, reached the eighth position of the Finnish album charts.

In February 2011, the band broke up.
