Machinist

Machinist / or machining technicians in / in ( Austria ) is a professional title and the name of the associated training profession. Machinist finished with cutting processes such as turning, milling or grinding precision components made of different materials.

Vocational

Machinist usually work in metal and plastics processing operations of industry and craft, as in machinery, steel or light metal, in foundries or in vehicle. There they are directly involved in the design, manufacture and machining of components. Germany

The dual training lasts three and a half or four years and ends with the final apprenticeship examination.
