Madina Demba Forest Park

The Madina Demba Forest Park is a forest in the West African nation of Gambia.

Topography

The approximately 6.7 by 4.5 kilometer area of the tree savannah and is located in the Central River Region, in the district Fulladu West. It is located south of the South Bank Road, The Gambia 's main highway, on the stretch between the towns Janjanbureh and Bansang. The 2373 -acre Madina Demba Forest Park is located about ten kilometers to Janjanbureh and eight kilometers from Bansang.

In the dry season the trees is regularly threatened by bushfire.

In the park there is a large number of warthogs ( Phacochoerus africanus ), but which are very shy.
