History

Mafell was founded in 1899 as Maschinenfabrik Fellbach in the same place. In 1926, the first portable Mafell carpentry machine in the world ( " Machine Type A"). After the company moved its headquarters in 1933 to Oberndorf - Aistaig, it was taken over two years later by Rudolf Mey.

Starting in 1960, then the machine housing made ​​from die-cast magnesium. 20 years later, again a world first: The Erika Unterflurzugsäge. 1990 saw the move to its current location Oberndorf -Lindenhof.

Awards
