The Magat ( eng.: Magat River ) is a river on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It is a tributary of the Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya flows through the provinces, Ifugao and Isabela. The Magat has a length of 178 km and a catchment area of 4638 km ².

The Magat rises in the Caraballo Mountains at an altitude of 1200 meters. It is the geographical border between the Cordelliera Central and the Caraballo Mountains. From its source in the town of Santa Fe, the Magat flows in a northeasterly direction in a wide river valley, which houses the Magat dam on the territory of the municipalities and Ramon Alfonso Lista. The river flows near the towns Gamu and Reina Mercedes in Cagayan. Are located on its river running one large and two smaller hydropower plants.
