Magnetic Fields (video game developer)

Magnetic Fields (Software Design) Ltd.. , Commonly referred to as Magnetic Fields, was an English software development studio that was founded in the late 1980s. Magnetic Fields initially programmed games for the Amiga and Commodore 64, published by Gremlin Graphics. The most successful games were also converted for the PC.

Magnetic Fields was mainly known for racing games. These include the Lotus Challenge and Super -Cars Racing Games.

The last game was published Rally Championship 2000 1999.

After switching off of Magnetic Fields, some developers founded the new studio Warthog and led there with their 2001 Rally Championship 2002 ( also known as Extreme Rally Championship ), this series continues. 2004 programmed this dev team today regarded as the most realistic rally simulation Richard Burns Rally. Publisher for both games was Ubisoft.
