Mahallat

Mahallat (Persian خمین ) is a city in central Iran in the Markazi province with 35.000 inhabitants. In pre-Christian times, the place was a center of Zoroastrianism from the ruins of a fire temple still visible. There are travertine deposits in the vicinity.
