Mahmutlar is a municipality in the district of Alanya and is located 12 km east of Alanya in the Turkish province of Antalya between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

In the past on six kilometers long sand beach, there are about 22,000 residents who live there all year, including about 3,500 people from the Scandinavian, Russian or German - Dutch space. The peak season (May - September), live in Mahmutlar 70000-80000 residents in apartments, villas and numerous hotels along the Turkish Riviera. Mahmutlar is a classic tourist destination.
