Maike Stöckel

Maike Stoeckel ( born March 6, 1984 in Bielefeld ) is a German hockey player.

Maike Stoeckel began with four years at the Hockey Club Food. About the Club Raffelberg they moved to their current club Rot-Weiss Köln. In 2007, the striker with the Cologne German champion. In 2008 she was runner-up as already in 2005.

In 2001 she became European U18 champion after they had lost with the U16 national team in 1999 and 2000 in the European Cup final. At the European Indoor Championships in 2002 Maike Stoeckel debuted in the German national hockey team, winning their first title. 2004 and 2006 she was again able to contribute to the victory at the European Indoor Championships. Outdoors, she was second in 2004 at the FIH Champions Trophy; 2006, the German team won this tournament, finished at the World Championships but only the eighth. At the World Indoor Championships 2007 in Vienna, the German team took third place. After the third place at the Champions Trophy in 2007, the team became European Champion in Manchester. 2008 Stiletto participated for the fifth time at the Champions Trophy in Mönchengladbach reached one second place. In the 2008 Olympics she won the German national team as well as the fourth place at the World Cup 2010, at the European Championships in 2009 and 2011, she won the silver medal each.
