Maikel Renfurm

Maikel Steven Renfurm ( born July 8, 1976 in Paramaribo, Suriname ) is a former Dutch football player and current coach

Club career

Maikel Renfurm born in Suriname and raised in the Netherlands. There he played in his youth at the amateur club Dynamo Â'67 Rijswijk, with only 18 years before he moved to first division club Sparta Rotterdam in 1994. After four years, he went in 1998 to league rivals NEC Nijmegen, where he played for two years. He then moved to the Icelandic champions KR Reykjavík record and has been involved with 7 games and a gate at the end at his renewed championship. 2001 Maikel Renfurm worked in the UK and played until the summer for the Scottish first division club FC St. Mirren. Then the Dutch came to Germany and played one season at Rot Weiss Ahlen in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2002 Renfurm the Danish second division Herfølge BK and celebrated with his team at the end of season promotion to the Danish Superliga. Thereafter, the midfielder only played for Dutch amateur teams. First, for the reserve of his former club Sparta Rotterdam, then for FC Kranenburg and for VV Haaglandia and Voorschoten '97. Coached by John de Wolf In the season 2010/11 he stood for RKVV Westlandia the last time on the court.

Coaching career

After his playing career was Maikel Renfurm assistant coach at RKVV Westlandia. He trained there the second team.
