Maîtresse is a French film directed by Barbet Schroeder love from the year 1976. The film portrays the sadomasochistic love story between a burglar and a dominatrix.

Action

The insignificant petty criminals Olivier ( Gérard Depardieu ) learns while he repaired the installation of Ariane (Bulle Ogier ) that the apartment of the home owner is left apparently and seems to offer itself as a worthy goal. When he tries to take advantage of the opportunity with an accomplice and they caught him, he realizes that Ariane in the house runs a BDSM studio and works as a professional dominatrix. Oliver pulls at her and begins to support them in their work, both fall in love. Studio and private residence of attractive young woman lying, connected through a secret trapdoor directly above the other. While the feelings of the couple continues to deepen, it starts between the everyday world of the upper floor and the world of sadomasochism on the floor below just swing back and forth as between MaleDom and FemDom. Both seek a path that allows them a common future, at a drive through the surrounding woods they finally discover it.
