Malchower SV

The Malchower SV is a German sports club based in the district Malchow Mecklenburg Lake District. Home of the football department is the forest playground with a spectator capacity of 3,000 seats.

Football section

The Malchower SV originated in 1950 from a merger of the BSG Tufama and the SG under the name Malchow Malchow BSG progress. The GDR in football rather unknown company sports club played sports in higher-class football not matter, but graduated in the 50s and 60s 10 seasons in the league at that time fourth-class district of Neubrandenburg. From 1967 to 1985 it always played under the then third-class district league. Only in 1990, you could claim back for the first time in the district league.

In 1990, the club underwent a name change to Malchower SV 90 and was incorporated into the Federation League Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The MSV held - with the exception of the 1995/96 season - always in the top division of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in which 2006 and 2007 behind FC Schönberg 95 and Greifwalder SV 04, the runner-up was retracted. 2009 presented the again -won runner-up for the climb to the Oberliga Nordost, as the Mecklenburg champions FC Schönberg 95 gave up the ascent to the Oberliga. The 2012/13 season was finished on 10th place in the table Currently, the club in the season 2013 /14 knocked off Table and therefore hired a new coach ( Christopher Stoll ) and enhanced with numerous new items during the winter break.
